Overview

K1 Pre-Order allows Shopify merchants to accept pre-orders for out-of-stock or upcoming products. This guide walks you through the initial installation and setup process.

Step 1: Install the App

  1. Visit the Shopify App Store listing and click Add app
  2. Review the permissions and click Install app
  3. You'll be redirected to the K1 Pre-Order Manager dashboard

Step 2: Enable the App Embed Block

To display pre-order buttons on your storefront, you need to activate the app embed block:

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize
  2. Click App embeds in the left sidebar
  3. Toggle K1 Pre-Order Manager to enabled
  4. Click Save

Step 3: Create Your First Pre-Order Rule

  1. Navigate to the Rules section in the app dashboard
  2. Click Create rule
  3. Select the products or collections you want to enable for pre-order
  4. Configure the display settings — button text, badge, and messaging
  5. Save and publish the rule

That's it! Your store is now ready to accept pre-orders. Visit your storefront to verify the pre-order button appears on the selected products.
